My name is Ernie Franklin

I am the Chairman and Trustee of Steeple View Community Association. I have been on the  committee for 17 Years, 16 Years as Chairman.

I have also with the committee have refurbished the hall to a high standard , we also put on events for the community free of charge.

I am also General Secretary for a Mini Soccer League in South East Essex.

My name is Sylvie and i am the Vice-Chair and Trustee of Steepleview Community Association. I have been a part of Steepleview Community Association for nearly 10yrs. I have had several volunteer roles over the years for different charities and organisations including, Governor of a primary school, football coach, chair of PTA.

As part of my role at Steepleview, I am responsible and main contact for our regular hall users. I enjoy bringing the community together whether that be at one of our lunches, quiz nights or parties.

Hi my name is Carol Franklin

I am the Secretary and Trustee for Steepleview Community Association for the last 17 years. My job is to look after the running of Steepleview. I am the

Booking officer – raise funding – deal with Basildon council who are our land lord. I am at the moment arranging for Steepleview to have a 25 year lease. We are volunteers at Steeple View. I have worked in the community since l was 16 yrs old. I love helping people in the community even though sometimes it can be hard work. I have different awards for working in the community my last one being from the Mayor of Basildon for the Alfie Dove award for my work at Steepleview.

I am and I have been part of the Steepleview Hall for 13 years and served as a committee member for over 10years and seen it undergo positive remarkable reformation, I serve as the Parish Pastor of faith based Christian group (The redeemed Christian Church of God – Faith Church) and we have held our service in the Hall for many years and enjoy a cordial relationship with committee, I have involved in most of community activities and enjoy working with various groups supporting at community lunch, Christmas grotto etc.

Professionally I manage a team clients officer resolving multiple enquiries, happily married and dad to 2 lovely children.

My name is Dave Bishop and I have been a member of the Steepleview Association Committee for just over two years now having initially become involved via my job as Community Engagement Officer with Home Instead Basildon.

It is an honour indeed to be part of the committee and to be able to help local people within the area via our projects and initiatives.

My name is Heidi Magner. I joined the committee after taking my young family to one of the community lunches. Since being part of a lovely, dedicated volunteer group I have been part of some special community events such as the Queens Jubilee and the King Charles Coronation party. I try to help where I can, but I do enjoy designing the event posters.

My Name is Chris Davis and l am a committee member for Steepleview Community Association. I have been helping the community for many years. I like helping people and help the very elderly with their shopping and take them to their appointments when needed. I also help with our community Family lunch every six weeks at Steepleview on a Saturday.

I’m Jenny a 74 year old retired lady who loves volunteering with the community lunches, it’s lovely to be able to serve and help people.
